The Inside Work

The Journey to Your Real Self

The Inside Work

The work we do on the outside can only take us so far.

At some point, growth asks us to slow down, look inward, and get curious about the patterns, beliefs, and stories shaping our lives.

The Inside Work is an upcoming course designed to help you do exactly that.

Through gentle reflection, practical tools, and meaningful insights, you’ll learn how to better understand yourself, navigate challenges with greater awareness, and create lasting change from the inside out.

You were never too much. You just couldn't read the jar.

And somewhere along the way, you learned to survive by becoming someone easier to be around. Someone smaller. Someone who reacts before they can think, who carries old wounds into new rooms, who can’t quite figure out why the same things keep happening.

The Inside Work is the program that helps you stop surviving and start responding from who you actually are.

What it is

A complete 8-week self-guided healing program.

Built specifically for adults who want to stop reacting from old wounds and start responding from who they actually are.

It uses body-based exercises, guided practices, and structured journaling — integrated phase by phase, so the work builds on itself. Each week builds on the last. Nothing is random. Nothing is rushed. You move through it at your own pace with everything you need already inside.

The Framework

Built on two foundational ideas.

Jar Patterns are the emotional programs installed in you before you had any say — the ways of being, reacting, and surviving that you learned from the people who raised you. You either adopted these patterns or rebelled against them. Both keep you tethered to the original wound.

The Whole Jar describes the four dimensions of a full human being that need to work together for lasting change: the emotional self, the intellectual self, the physical body, and the spiritual self. When all four are engaged, the work goes deep enough to actually shift something.

The 8-Week Structure

One phase at a time. One layer at a time.

Weeks 1–2

Jar Patterns — Portrait Work — Who taught you how to be?

Weeks 3–4

The Trigger Map — Finding the wound under the defense

Weeks 5–6

The Bottom of the Jar — Meeting the hidden self

Weeks 7–8

Refilling the Jar — Letters, reparenting, and writing a new story
The suggested rhythm is 2–3 sessions per week, 30–50 minutes each. Don’t try to complete a whole phase in one sitting. The work needs space between sessions to settle in the body.

Who This Is For

This is for you if...

A Note for Neurodivergent Readers

One phase at a time. One layer at a time.

This work may surface big feelings quickly. Your wiring for depth and pattern recognition is an asset here — not a liability. Give yourself permission to go slow, take breaks, and trust that your nervous system knows what it can handle. Nothing here requires you to move faster than feels safe. For those who experience RSD, your nervous system has two engines: the wound response AND a neurological hair-trigger for perceived rejection or criticism. Both are real. The Inside Work addresses the wound root — and it holds space for the wiring too. If something feels too big to hold alone, please don’t hold it alone.

This program was built with neurodivergent brains in mind — not as an afterthought, but from the inside out. The structure is clear. The pacing is yours. The language is shame-free. You belong here.

What’s Inside Every Phase

Two types of work. Clearly labeled throughout.

EXERCISE

Experiential, body-based, or visualization practices. These are done, not written. Things like body scans, the empty chair, the Bottom of the Jar visualization, and the Little You practice.

JOURNAL

Written reflection prompts to process and integrate what the exercises surface. Prompts that move you forward instead of keeping you stuck in the story.

The hidden self isn’t your enemy. It’s the part of you that’s been waiting to be welcomed home.
