Meet Tonya:
A Coach Who Lived It Before She Studied It
Welcome to Inside the Pickle Jar, where personal experience meets professional expertise.
I’m Tonya, a coach who understands what it’s like to navigate the unique challenges of being neurodiverse (ND).
My late diagnosis came after years of feeling like an outsider in both personal and professional spaces.
I had to learn the unspoken rules of life, relationships, and communication the hard way.
But through trial, error, and persistence, I turned those challenges into an opportunity to help others who feel just as I did—lost and misunderstood.
I built Inside the Pickle Jar not just as a coaching platform, but as a sanctuary for those who are neurodiverse, their families, and the teams they work with.
I know firsthand what it feels like to try and fit into a world that isn’t built for you. But with the right guidance and understanding, I’ve learned how to make it work—both in life and in business.
Why am I uniquely qualified to help you?
I’m an advisor and certified executive coach with an PCC credential from the International Coaching Federation (ICF). With over a decade of experience coaching internally at a Fortune 50 company, I have honed my skills in guiding executives and leaders at all levels to achieve their full potential and drive organizational success.
In addition to my ICF certification, I hold several micro-certifications in key areas such as Time and Productivity, Culture Change, Power and Edge, Public Speaking, and Strategic Planning. I’m also a certified Gallup CliftonStrengths coach and a certified Genos Emotional Intelligence practitioner.
These specialized credentials allow me to offer tailored coaching solutions that address the unique challenges faced by executives and teams. Through the previously mentioned assessments, I can create a tailored action plan to increase productivity, wellbeing, and culture.
I am passionate about facilitating workshops that foster better communication, collaboration, and alignment within teams and boards. My workshops are designed to build andimprove relationships, enhance performance, and create a cohesive and high-performing work environment. Over the years, I have had the privilege of working with diverse teams across the United States, helping them unlock their potential and achieve their goals.
I would be delighted to bring my expertise, passion, and commitment to excellence to your organization. Together, we can drive meaningful change, enhance leadership capabilities, and create a culture of continuous improvement.
Grapes of Grit: Before the Podcast, There Was a Book
Before I ever thought about starting a podcast, I wrote a book.
Grapes of Grit is a collection of personal stories, lessons learned, and the strategies that helped me transform my neurodiverse challenges into a source of strength.
You can find the book in my shop—let it inspire you on your own journey toward self-discovery and success.
The guide I wish I’d had.
